REVIEW: Trust Us, You’re Gonna Want To Try This New POG Dessert in Disney World!

Aloha! Come celebrate 626 Day with us!

Hey, 626!

June 26th marks a special day! Also known as 6/26, it’s the day we honor our favorite Experiment 626 Stitch from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch! To celebrate this lovable animated alien, Disney World has special Stitch merch and snacks available now! Speaking of snacks, we tried these 626 Day-exclusive snacks and we have a ton of thoughts!

Taking place all over Disney World, 626 Day has special food offerings all over Disney World — and we tried it all!

Up first, we tried the Lilo and Stitch Slushy at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.

Lilo & Stitch Slushy

This POG slushy (passion fruit, orange, and guava) costs $6.50 and is made with frozen Minute Maid, passion fruit, orange, and guava juice and topped with whipped cream and a Lilo and Stitch chocolate décor.

This was essentially the same pog slushy we tried The Mara in Animal Kingdom, which is a good thing!  This drink is a bit more orange-forward! The drink is fairly sweet, so keep that in mind before purchasing. We also preferred the whipped cream by itself, as we thought it didn’t mesh great with the citrus. The white chocolate was also forgettable and not a strong addition to the drink.

Still, we quite liked this and found it to be a worthy ode to Lilo & Stitch!

The drink is very good, but we could do without the chocolate

Next up, we tried the Experiment 626 Cone at Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. This blue vanilla soft-serve cone with cotton candy flavors topped with Stitch ears chocolate décor costs $5.79.

Experiment 626 Cone

This June 26th-exclusive dessert has a nice vanilla and light cotton candy blend that’s not overly sweet. It’s a return hit and we can definitely see why!

The white chocolate ears give a nice crunch texture and we think this ice cream cone works really well overall, but be sure to eat it quickly — it melts fast!

YUM!

Finally, the last snack we tried was the Experiment 626 Éclair at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs. Another POG dessert, the Experiment 626 Éclair is made with passion fruit and mango.

This éclair is available now through June 30th for $7.25.

We LOVED this dessert! The fruit flavor was never overpowering and the tangy aftertaste of the passion fruit was truly amazing. The cream is the star here and the soft nature of this dessert makes it refreshing on a warm day!

This dessert is a winner!

You can also pick up the Stitch Blueberry-Lemonade Mousse Cake at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Magic Kingdom on June 26th! This 626 Day dessert is made with Blueberry mousse, lemon curd, vanilla cake, and mango glaze.
