NEWS: A NEW Bar Is Coming Soon to Disney Springs!

Something NEW is coming to Disney World.

We recently took a stroll through Disney Springs and noticed some new construction walls. New construction walls generally mean something NEW is on the way, so of course, we were curious. What was most surprising, though, is where these construction walls were located: right next to Raglan Road. Plus we saw signs that Paddy’s Bar would be coming soon. Now, we’ve got ALL the details about this new bar.

Here’s what we saw when we visited Disney Springs. As you can see, Paddy’s Bar is well under construction. The sign says: “Excited and delighted to bring you Paddy’s Bar. We’ll hold a seat for ye.” There were also sketches of the new bar, which show it as an outdoor location. We spoke to Raglan Road employees who told us this new spot would be replacing the beer cart that used to be just outside the restaurant. You’ll find it just in front of the Shop for Ireland gift shop.

Well, we’ve got even MORE details about the new bar. It will seat around 6-8 people with additional seating at the bar. There will also be no food on the menu; this is strictly a bar only serving a limited menu of drinks including Irish draft beers, as well as locally commissioned craft beers plus a unique offering of Irish cocktails.

So where does the bar’s name come from? Well, it’s named after famed Irish poet and novelist Patrick Kavanagh who wrote the poem “Raglan Road.” See? There’s a connection! Like you’ll find inside Raglan Road, much of the bar’s decor will be directly imported from Ireland.

We’re looking forward to having a pint at Paddy’s!

So when will you be able to sit down and have a pint or Irish cocktail at Paddy’s? Well, the answer is sooner than you think! Paddy’s Bar is expected to open in fall 2024. That’s not too far away at all.
