Big things are happening with Disney Cruise Line.

We’ve already been getting SO many details about the Disney Treasure, but Disney just revealed the name of ANOTHER new ship, the Disney Destiny. The Disney Destiny is set to take its maiden voyage in 2025. It will also be the first Disney ship with a heroes and villains theme. But Disney also dropped some hints about what else it has in store for the newest ship in its fleet.

So Disney has teased some of the movies that will be represented on the ship, including HerculesYes — you read that right, Hercules! Now, we don’t know if this will be something as simple as meeting characters from Hercules on the ship or if it’s more elaborate like a restaurant or show.

Disney also teased that The Lion King would be part of the ship in some way. We can’t help but think this could be a show (maybe a shortened version of Broadway’s The Lion King). Again, Disney has not yet announced what this could be, but a Lion King show just makes sense.

The video also features a series of doors with symbols on them. One symbol looks a lot like the Jolly Roger (the skull and crossbones), which has to represent something Pirates. Now, this could be just a reference to Pirates Night, which happens on all Disney Cruise Line ships, but we think its inclusion here could be a different kind of Pirates of the Caribbean experience. Could this be a Pirates of the Caribbean tavern or lounge similar to what’s coming to Magic Kingdom?

You’ll also notice a symbol above that bears a striking resemblance to Edna Mode from The Incredibles. We may see the Incredibles-themed kid’s space, Hero Zone, on this ship like the one on the Disney Wish and Treasure. But the theme of the Destiny is heroes and villains, so does that mean we’ll see The Incredibles in a new and different way?

The Haunted Mansion was also teased by Disney, and we can’t help but think that a Haunted Mansion Parlor is coming to the Disney Destiny, similar to the one announced for the Disney Treasure.

Disney also teased two Marvel superheroes on those doors: Spider-Man and Black Panther. Now this could be in reference to the Worlds of Marvel restaurant that’s already onboard the Disney Wish and Treasure. This could also suggest Marvel Super Hero Academy, a kid’s area currently on the Disney Wish. However, could a new Black Panther experience be coming to the Disney Destiny?
