Florida has so much to offer and it is continuing to expand. Soon Florida will have a new water park and it is not at Disney World or Universal Orlando!
South Florida will have a new water park for families to enjoy as Great Wolf Lodge is currently under construction.
Great Wolf Lodge is an indoor family water park and will soon be open in Naples, Florida. This location will be the first Great Wolf Lodge in Florida.
Great Wolf Lodge South Florida is set to open on September 25th of this year. The water park will be 92,000 square feet containing three pools and 12 slides.
In addition to the enclosed water park, there will be 500 guest suites. If water is not your thing, there will also be a 60,000-square-foot family entertainment center. The family entertainment center will include miniature golf, an arcade, a ropes course, and bowling alleys.
If you love Harry Potter, Great Wolf Lodge has an experience called MagiQuest that allows guests to use a wand to complete resort-wide activities
Originally, the company bought land in Orlando to build their resort but later decided on Collier Country which is near Interstate 75.
When Great Wolf Lodge opens on September 25th, it will be the first Great Wolf Lodge in Florida. This location will be the perfect weekend getaway for those colder Florida months when Orlando outdoor theme park water parks are not as popular.
