You’ve had questions, and we finally have answers… or, at least a few about how the Disney Dining Plan will work with EPCOT festivals in 2024.

With the start of EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts and the return of the Disney Dining Plan, folks have been wondering if we would see these two coexist again for the upcoming festival. Now, we’re getting answers to burning questions that will help you double down on a good meal and see all the festival offerings while visiting EPCOT.
If you’ve been wondering if the Festival of the Arts will be compatible with the Disney Dining Plan well, we’ve got news for you! Disney has just updated the dining package credit information for the festival offering and we’re understanding why it hadn’t populated on the dining package pages for the festival’s Disney on Broadway concert series previously.

Disney on Broadway dining package reservations opened on December 19th, 2023 for the 2024 Festival of the Arts offerings, and now we’re seeing that dining plan credit requirements are VARIED — just like regular table service dining.

This year, Disney has opted to allow the combined dinner and concert package to follow the normally posted dining plan credits based on the restaurant you’re choosing to dine. Previously, all of the restaurants that were included in the dining packages were 2 table service credits, so we find this change interesting. We also saw this happen with Fantasmic! dining packages which used to be 2 table service credits per person, and now the credits will just go along with whatever the restaurant typically requires for a normal meal.

We also found it interesting how Disney presents credit requirements for each restaurant. To see just how much you’ll need, you’ll want to start by making a reservation to see them, and based on the mealtime that you’ve chosen at a restaurant, you’ll see the dining plan credits that are required populate for that meal time. This doesn’t necessarily mean that if breakfast or lunch pops up first dinner isn’t offered, it just means you’ll want to change the dining time you’re searching for to a dinner time to see those credit requirements.
