A NEW Disney Float Is Joining the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade This Year!

Thanksgiving is almost upon us, and that means lots of things.

Disney has already jumped ahead and started decorating for the winter holidays, but there are a few places you can have Thanksgiving dinner in Disney World, and remember that Thanksgiving week will be a BUSY one in the parks. But even if you’re not celebrating in the parks, you can celebrate from home by watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, where we’re wondering if a special float will make an appearance!

It’s already been confirmed on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade website that we’ll be seeing a Disney Cruise Line float again this year. In 2022, Mickey and his pals sailed through New York City on a Disney Wish cruise ship float.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade website lists a Disney Cruise Line “Magic Meets the Sea” float, and the float pictured on the website looks to be the Disney Wish ship we saw last year. But if you read the text carefully, it says, “Modeled after their newest ship, the Disney Treasure, the float captures Disney’s elegant classic ocean liner design, complete with Mickey Mouse signature colors, classic filigree trim & the iconic red smokestacks.”

This year, Disney shared tons of new details about its NEW Disney Cruise Line ship joining the fleet. The Disney Treasure is the sister ship to the Disney Wish, so it looks like with a few small adjustments, we might see a slightly reworked version of the float from last year!
