There’s just something about fireworks that adds that extra touch of magic at the end of your Disney day, right? No matter how many times you see them they’re still amazing!

Magic Kingdom and EPCOT both put on amazing fireworks shows nightly synced with music and filled with special effects. Of course, when you are in the parks, you’ll get the best view of the shows. However, sometimes you want to avoid the hassle and the crowds to watch them inside the park. Lucky for you, we have a new recommendation of where to watch Happily Ever After without a park ticket.
Many of our readers know that you can watch Happily Ever After from the beaches at Disney’s Polynesian Village and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. These resorts will pipe in the music from the nighttime show and you’ll have a view of some of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom.

But, we’re here to give you a third option for hotels, and it’s probably one you have not even thought of. We’re here to tell you to consider heading to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.

That’s right. Of course, you will need to either take Disney transportation to the resort or have a dining reservation, at either Whispering Canyon or Artist Point, to get into the resort. But if you do, we recommend heading to Geyser Point Bar & Grill. We just did a review of this location and it is a great place to grab some grub or a drink.

Well, you can also grab a drink to go and head down to Bay Lake for a view of Happily Ever After. Recently, one of our reporters was able to experience this. While this view is a little more obstructed, you can still enjoy the fireworks. They also pipe in the soundtrack for the show!

If you want to watch the show, you won’t have to fight too many crowds to see it. Unlike the beaches at neighboring resorts, the crowd is much less here and people didn’t even start gathering by the water until 10 minutes before the show.

You can also stick around for the Electrical Water Pageant. This is a nightly display that makes its circuit around Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake for the Magic Kingdom area resorts.

There were all of twelve people viewing the fireworks from Wilderness Lodge last night. It was like a semi-private viewing……great views of the fireworks in the air and reflected on Bay Lake; and no crowd noise to drown out the words & music to the show. What a great tip!
