Harry Potter Land is one of our favorite areas of Universal Orlando, but there’s a lot of food to decide between.

Some of the most iconic snacks in the land are ones you can’t miss, but there are others that may disappoint you. Here are the four snacks and meals we recommend in Harry Potter Land so you don’t get overwhelmed!
Butterbeer
Butterbeer is the most iconic snack in Harry Potter World. There are 3 different versions you can get: Hot, Cold, and Frozen.

Now, everyone has a different preference for which they love the most, but it is important to note that the Hot and Cold versions are carbonated, whereas the Frozen one is not.

We highly recommend you grab one while you’re in the park, but if you don’t like the first one you get, we encourage you to try one of the different ones to see if you enjoy it better.
Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream
Ice cream is always a good idea in our eyes (unless you’re allergic), but there’s one place you should prioritize getting ice cream from — Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor in Diagon Alley.

This ice cream is so incredibly creamy and one of the best places to get the butterbeer ice cream. While you can get ice cream in other areas of the land, this ice cream is scooped fresh for you, making it some of the best you can grab.

If you’re wandering around Diagon Alley, trust us, you’ll want to stop by. Even if you don’t like butterbeer, because there are plenty of other flavors to try.
Apple Oatmeal Flan w/ Yogurt and Fruit
Looking for a simple breakfast that’s heavy enough for the beginning of a park day? We suggest grabbing the Apple Oatmeal Flan w/ Yogurt and Fruit from the Three Broomsticks.

The flan may not be for everyone, but if you like apple, cinnamon, and bread pudding, you’ll likely enjoy it. We also loved how fresh and flavorful the fruit was!

The yogurt wasn’t anything special to us, but it was good! Overall, it’s a simple breakfast that isn’t too heavy, and it’s one of the best options for picky eaters.
Shepherd’s Pie Jacket Potato
Outside of Diagon Alley (aka London), there’s a stand that sells jacket potatoes (baked potatoes) where you can get the Shepherd’s Pie Jacket Potato.

There are three other options at this stand, but this one is easily our favorite. Now, THIS is filling, so keep that in mind when you’re thinking about the rest of your park day.

It’s fantastic to split amongst your group or have a hearty meal if you need something to fill you up. It’s certainly a good choice for meat lovers, so if that isn’t you, you may want to stay away.
