NEW VIDEO Shows How Disney Removed the Bear From Magic Kingdom

Do you remember the BEAR in Magic Kingdom?

Nope, we’re not talking about the Country Bears, we’re talking about the live bear that appeared in Magic Kingdom overnight on September 18th, 2023. The bear caused the closure of three lands in the park, including a number of rides, attractions, shows, shops, and restaurants. Thankfully, the bear was safely removed from the park that same day — but now we have a look at how it was done!

News 6 WKMG shared a video showing the bear’s capture on YouTube. In the video, local wildlife workers and Disney Cast Members work together to extricate the bear from its hiding place near the Rivers of America. Check it out below.

To remove the bear, it was sedated using a dart gun and then gathered up in netting. After its removal, the bear was released in the wild in the Ocala National Forest.
