FIRST LOOK at an Animatronic from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Ride!

Hello from  Destination D23 in sunny Orlando Florida! We’re covering everything there is to see and do at this special Disney fan event, and now we’re back for an update on a highly anticipated new attraction!

We’re getting closer and closer every day to the grand completion of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure attraction! Wanna see a little preview of the ride? Of course you do! Let’s check it out!

As a quick refresher, Disney previously shared that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will pick up after The Princess and The Frog, as Tiana has successfully opened Tiana’s Palace, her restaurant.

Every good ride needs a story, though, and we know that Tiana is planning to throw a party during Mardi Gras, but it turns out there has been a mix-up with the party preparations, and Tiana invites us to join her at Tiana’s Foods to find the missing ingredient for the party.

Throughout the ride, guests will encounter several of the characters we know and love from the movie, and the ride will also feature 17 new characters. Plus, all of the characters in the ride will be brand-new animatronics.

Disney previously announced that these 10 characters will make an appearance in the attraction: Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Mama Odie, Louis, Eudora, Charlotte, “Big Daddy,” the King and Queen of Maldonia, and Prince Ralphie! Many of the original voice actors will reprise their roles.
