If you haven’t been to Disney’s Animal Kingdom at night — you’re missing out.
You can find some low wait times and gorgeous views if you visit the park at night. You could hop on Expedition Everst to ride in the dark or see the glowing walkways in Pandora: The World of Avatar. But, the park closes early which doesn’t leave many opportunities to see it after dark — now, some people will get that chance.
Extended Evening Hours are a special bonus for guests staying at Disney’s Deluxe Resorts and Disney Villas at Disney World. This replaced Extra Magic Hours in 2020. Previously, we have seen these special hours at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios.
While Disney has not yet confirmed that Extended Evening Hours are coming to Animal Kingdom, we did notice this on the calendar for November on Disney’s website. On November 8th, it shows Extended Evening Hours from 7PM-9PM.
Extended Evening Hours are available only for guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas. Those Resorts and hotels include:
