BREAKING: The New Shiki-Sai Restaurant Is Opening TODAY at EPCOT's Japan Pavilion

There’s a new restaurant coming to EPCOT and SURPRISE — it’s opening…today?!!

Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya is a new restaurant opening in the Japan Pavillion in the World Showcase. This table service restaurant will have a unique menu, a view of the fireworks, and a cultural representative from Japan guiding you through some of the experience. And no, we’re not kidding, the restaurant is opening TODAY!!!!

Initially, Disney shared that the new restaurant would open in the summer of 2023. Then, an opening date was listed on the website for the restaurant — August 30th. Earlier this morning, we saw that the opening date had apparently changed to August 28th. But now there’s been a NEW twist in the tale!

We’re Getting Closer!

Disney has announced that Shiki-Sai will be opening TODAY — August 15th. According to the Japan Mitsukoshi Instagram page, the restaurant will open TODAY for walk-in guests only. Availability may vary so you’ll have to watch out for that. The restaurant will be open from 12PM to 9PM.

If you’re looking for reservations, those are available for dates starting August 28th and beyond, but you may be able to get a walk-up spot starting today so move fast and head to EPCOT!
