NEWS! Opening Date Revealed for Trail’s End Restaurant in Disney World

We’ve been keeping a close eye on construction at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, because we’ve been anticipating some big dining updates!

A little while back, Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s Tavern closed to be refurbished into updated dining experiences at the resort. Now, Disney has announced a reopening date for those two spots, as well as details about what will be offered!

Both Trail’s End and Crockett’s Tavern will reopen on Thursday, July 27th. When they reopen, they’ll both have a new look and some new menu items.

According to Disney, “These new menus at Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s Tavern complement the resort’s signature laid-back style and offer the dining flexibility our guests are looking for, no matter how they plan to enjoy their day at Walt Disney World.”

In terms of decor, there will be warm wooden furnishings, beamed ceilings, and rustic accents throughout the dining spaces.

Trail’s End has been redesigned to be entirely a market-style quick service spot with pizza, a hot grab-and-go section, homestyle meals, and desserts. Click here to see menu details for Trail’s End!

Crockett’s Tavern will be a refreshed lounge with expanded seating and a view of Bay Lake. The menu is filled with new lounge eats and a variety of signature drinks.
