Disney World has come a long way since the days of having to wait in line to get your food.
Of course, you can still do that if you’re really craving some nostalgia, but with Mobile Order on the My Disney Experience app, you don’t have to. You can easily open the app and order food to go pick up from select restaurants, and the feature recently went through a big update — but you might have missed something!
We’re big fans of the mobile order feature on the Disney World app. It’s super convenient for grabbing a quick bite to eat when you’re running from ride to ride. We’ve got a full guide on it here, but mobile ordering recently got an update, and there’s something you might have missed.
You can now view mobile order photo galleries to get an idea of some of the menu items and vibes at a certain dining location! Just click on the round photo icon next to the restaurant name when you’re on the mobile order page.
From there, it’ll show you photos of what the restaurant might look like — here’s Casey’s Corner…
…and also a preview of some of the menu items! Does anyone else want a chili cheese dog now? Just us? Typical.
You can click on the icon for any of the restaurants available on mobile order, and photos should pop up giving you an idea of what to expect. For example, here’s what you see when you click on the Satu’li Canteen page.
Hopefully, this will make your decision-making process just a bit easier when you’re looking for something to eat in Disney World. The new update also features an ‘Available Now,’ option, where the app will show you the number of locations in each park where you can immediately walk up and be served your food “As Soon As Possible.”
You can also order your food way ahead of time so that you don’t have to worry about it later. Just click “Schedule for Later” to view your options. This option was available before, but now it’s easier to sort by time.

Hi Phyllis! We checked our apps again just to make sure and it’s still letting us choose a pick-up time later in the day.
