Amazon Alexa devices are taking over the world — or at least they’re slowly taking over Disney World.

Hey Disney

But many of us have these devices in our homes, too, and we might even admit we’d be lost without them. But if you’ve had an Amazon Echo speaker for a while, now might be the time for an upgrade, and Amazon has just released a NEW design for the Echo speaker plus a new version of its Echo Buds headphones.

The new Amazon Echo speaker is called the Echo Pop, and it has a new quirky shape that comes in a variety of fun colors, like Lavender Bloom, Charcoal, Glacier White, and Midnight Teal.

This compact speaker is great for smaller spaces and works with Amazon Alexa. Just connect it via Bluetooth and you can play music, audiobooks, and more, as well as use the speaker to have Alexa set times, check the weather forecast, tell you about your day, and more.

Amazon also just released all-new Echo Buds. These wireless earbuds let you take your music, podcasts, and more everywhere you go and include a long-lasting battery so you can listen for longer.

The buds also have customizable tap control and allow you to connect to two devices at a time.

While these new items are exciting, they weren’t exactly the Amazon news we’ve been hoping for. “Hey, Disney!” is set to be available at home eventually, but we haven’t heard much about this since January 2023. Amazon still says “We’ll email you when available” for “Hey, Disney!” at home, so we’ll just have to wait and see — in the meantime, you can use the Echo Pop while we wait!
