We’ve noticed some favoritism in Disney Springs lately, and we’re here to address it. Popular restaurants like The Boathouse, Homecomin’, and Chicken Guy! are filled with incredible savory eats, but there are plenty of other great places to dine, too!
The Polite Pig, for example, has some of our favorite barbecue dishes in Disney World. With a name like The Polite Pig, it would be rude not to give this place a proper introduction.
The Polite Pig is a quick-service restaurant with smoked meats and Southern entrees. If you’re looking for a place to sit down and enjoy some quality fried chicken but didn’t manage to snag a Homecomin’ reservation, this is a terrific option.
Recently, this little comfort food spot shared a menu update. There’s a new chef-special Coconut Jerk Pork Sandwich available now in honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!
The new sandwich contains coconut jerk pork and pineapple slaw on a Hawaiian roll. It also comes with The Polite Pig’s take on a Hawaiian macaroni salad. One word: yum!
This meal might be a little messy, but with those enticing flavors, we’re willing to indulge regardless of the mess.
