The Boathouse in Disney Springs Is Getting a Big UPGRADE

Some of the best views in Disney World can happen while you’re eating.

Catching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort at California Grill? Iconic. Watching the zebras graze on the savannah while you dine at Sanaa? One-of-a-kind experience. But sometimes, the best atmosphere for a meal is sitting on a patio overlooking the water with a cool breeze. Soon, guests in Disney Springs will have a new opportunity to do so.

Recently, we’ve been noticing some construction going on at The BOATHOUSE in Disney Springs. Last week, the side of the restaurant was beginning to look quite a bit different.

It turns out, they have been working on a “new” patio! The restaurant shared the news along with some photos on Instagram yesterday.

Previously, this area was not covered. It does appear that this new overhang extends to the outdoor seating area, but we will keep you updated as we know more!

Given that Florida is notorious for afternoon rainstorms, a new covered patio is a welcome addition to this popular restaurant. The Boathouse hasn’t shared when this new patio will be complete, but they did say it will be soon. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest details!
