We have some HUGE NEWS for those who want to become Annual Passholders at Disney World!

Back in December of 2022, Annual Pass prices INCREASED, but many passes have not been available for new purchases for a while. Instead, most pass types have only been available for renewal (save for the Pixie Dust Pass which is limited to Florida Residents). But now we have some huge news.

NEW sales of ALL Disney World Annual Passes will be available soon! Here’s what you need to know.

First, Disney has confirmed that NEW sales for the Incredi-Pass, Sorcerer Pass, and Pirate Pass will resume on April 20th, 2023 — that’s in just a few days! (Note that Pixie Dust passes have been available for new purchases and will continue to be available.)

You’ll be able to purchase these new Annual Passes online.

But Disney has cautioned that the quantity of the passes will be limited and certain passes or pass types may become UNAVAILABLE at any time (a.k.a. they may sell out for a period of time). So, you’ll want to buy your pass ASAP to ensure that you are able to get one.

And there’s more. Eligible Disney Vacation Club members will be able to purchase the DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass online a little early — starting April 13th, so mark those calendars! (Note that all eligible DVC Members can buy this pass, they do NOT need to be Florida Residents.)

In terms of who can buy what type of passes, here’s a breakdown:

Incredi-Pass will be available for ANYONE to buy
Sorcerer Pass will be available for Florida Residents and DVC Members only
Pirate Pass will be available for Florida Residents only
Pixie Dust Pass continues to be available for Florida Residents only

In terms of pricing, that will remain the same as the updated pricing that was announced back in late 2022. Here’s the breakdown of that:

Incredi-Pass: $1,399
Sorcerer Pass: $969
Pirate Pass: $749
Pixie Dust Pass: $399

Again, these passes will be available to buy online but the online service may include a waiting room, so be prepared to get in line and wait a bit once they become available.

What if you have an existing Annual Pass and want to upgrade? Disney has indicated that (as always) during your renewal window, you can renew into any available pass type. But also, on April 20th, existing Passholders will be able to renew their passes right away online (even if outside of their renewal window). Just know that the difference in price will have to be paid in FULL at the time of upgrade and the new pass will have the same expiration date as the original pass.
