Celebrity Comments on Possible Return to 'Pirates of the Caribbean'

Raise your hand if you love Pirates of the Caribbean — we’re raising ours!?‍♀️

You can ride the attractions that inspired this movie franchise in Disney World and Disneyland (and they’re DIFFERENT!), but sometimes you need a good rewatch of the films at home. Orlando Bloom, who played Will Turner in the series, has recently commented on returning to his role!

In a conversation with Parade, Orlando Bloom commented that he “wouldn’t mind seeing what Will looked like today in some ways, because he was such this earnest guy.” After he’s been at the bottom of the ocean for so long though, Orlando would be interested “to see how he surfaces and what he’s like.”

Parade asked Bloom what role he would like to revisit the most from his career, and he mentioned Will Turner, and also mentioned how great it was to get to revisit Legolas from The Hobbit 10 years later as well.

Pirates of the Caribbean

We certainly wouldn’t mind seeing Will Turner’s return to the Pirates franchise, but as of now, it doesn’t appear there are any concrete plans to make this happen. You can be we’ll be keeping a weather eye on the horizon, though!
