We Didn’t Have Disney Titanic Merchandise on Our 2023 Bingo Card…But Here We Are

Whether or not you believe there was room on the door for Jack to survive with Rose (there was totally room), you’re probably familiar with the iconic love story from the Titanic movie.

But you might not expect to find merchandise that celebrates this movie’s 25th anniversary at DISNEY of all places. We were surprised to find an entire collection of new, Titanic-themed souvenirs online at shopDisney! Why exactly is Disney selling these new items, and which of them should you add to your collection? We’ve got the answers you need to this nautical mystery.

First, we have to clear up something very important: It actually DOES make sense for Disney to sell Titanic merchandise. The movie is owned by 20th Century Fox, and Disney acquired Fox in 2019 (an acquisition that has lately been scrutinized by activist investor Nelson Peltz), which means Disney now owns the Titanic movie.

We recently saw some Anastasia merchandise online at shopDisney too, and that movie became Disney’s through the same acquisition. So if Anastasia is a Disney princess now…does that make Rose a Disney princess too?? We need answers.

If you’re a fan of Titanic, you might be celebrating the movie’s 25th anniversary right now (it came out in December 1997, and yes, that makes us feel old). Here are a few new items that can help you celebrate!

First, there’s this sketchbook set, which is a “detailed replica” of the sketchbook prop from the movie. The set includes the case, the book itself, and 8 pencils.

We spotted this Titanic baseball cap, which has the movie’s name embroidered on the front.

Disney also has this Titanic scarf, which “pays tribute to Rose with the beautiful allover floral screen print and fringed hem.”

There’s also a Heart of the Ocean necklace by Rebecca Hook, which is made of sterling silver with a blue lapis lazuli stone and a clear cubic zirconia border.

Next, we found a “detailed replica of the ‘Honor and Glory Crowning Time’ clock,” which is inspired by the clock at the grand staircase in the movie.

The clock is about 17.5” tall and 11.75” wide. You can buy one online for $215.

Finally, there’s a 25th Anniversary Tie-Dye T-Shirt, which is embroidered with a silhouette of the ship.
