A lot was announced at the D23 Expo — so much, that we wouldn’t blame you if you’re feeling overwhelmed.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure details, the 100th Anniversary celebration, the reimagining of Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland, Frozen-themed lands coming to international parks — seriously…there’s a lot to look forward to. And, if you find yourself lost in all of the announcements, don’t worry — Disney provided a timeline for their upcoming projects!
During the D23 Expo, Disney shared a timeline for all of their upcoming projects, entitled, “A Boundless Future.”Â
In 2022, we’ve already seen new offerings like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Star Wars:Â Galactic Starcruiser launch in the parks. But, we can also expect to see:
- Fantasmic! return to Disney World
- Hulk meet guests in Disney California Adventure
- Eudora’s Chic Boutique in Disneyland (September 20th)
- Mandalorian and Grogu arrive at Disneyland (mid-November)
- Booking open for Disney Cruise Line in Australia and New Zealand (October 6th)
- Believe! Sea of Dreams at Tokyo Disneyland (November 11th)
2023 is set to bring:
- Reimagined Mickey’s Toontown in Disneyland
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Disneyland
- Hatbox Ghost in Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion
- Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana in EPCOT (late 2023
- TRON Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom (Spring 2023)
- World Celebration in EPCOT
- Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration
- The Villas at Disneyland Hotel
- We Belong Together! A Pixar Musical Review at Disneyland Paris
- Disney Village Transformation at Disneyland Paris
- Fantasy Springs Tokyo DisneySea
- World of Frozen at Hong Kong Disneyland
2024 is expected to bring:
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in both Disneyland and Disney World (late 2024)
- Disney Treasure, the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line
- Disney’s new private island Lighthouse Point
- Disney Vacation Club expansion at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Cotino: A Storyliving by Disney Community
- Disneyland Hotel transformation at Disneyland Paris
