The first day of Halloween Horror Nights is less than a month away, tons of brand new merchandise is popping up, and we’re anxiously awaiting the reopening of Revenge of the Mummy. But if you’re planning a trip to Universal in the near, there’s also an upcoming temporary closure you’ll want to know about!

Universal Orlando is known for its awesome thrill rides like VelociCoaster, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, and The Incredible Hulk Coaster, to name a few.

As many theme park guests know, even the most popular rides are temporarily taken offline from time to time so they can undergo important maintenance. Now for the good news — these closures are often announced in advance so guests know when rides are expected to be down for an extended period of time.

Revenge of the Mummy Refurbishment

One of the most popular rides at Universal Studios Florida, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, has a temporary closure coming up, so heads up if this thrilling coaster is on your must-do list!

According to the Universal Orlando website, Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit will be temporarily closed from August 21st through August 25th.
