It’s been a big night for Marvel!
We’ve been following along with announcements at the San Diego Comic Con and we’ve learned about some of the newest Disney shows and movies coming soon. There will be a second season of the popular animated show What If…? and we got a sneak peek at the National Treasure show coming to Disney+. But Marvel just dropped a ton of news about their upcoming projects so we’re going to break it down!
Let’s get into it. First up is the release date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3! This has been a highly anticipated movie featuring some fan-favorite heroes. You’ll be able to watch the movie in theaters on August 5th, 2023.

We also got a release date and name for the brand new Captain America movie. It’s called Captain America: New World Order and will follow Sam Wilson and his journey as Captain America. The movie will premiere in theaters on May 3rd, 2024, so you’ll have to wait a while to see this one.

Next up is news from the new show Secret Invasion. The show will stream on Disney+ starting in Spring of 2023 and will feature Nick Fury and “shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.”
Alright, we knew the super popular Loki series was getting a 2nd season, but now we have a premiere timeline! You can expect season 2 of Loki on Disney+ in Summer of 2023.
Blade is a new Marvel film and we already have a release date! Marvel has not released a ton of details about the movie just yet, but prepare to see it in theaters on November 3rd, 2023.
Anyone watch the Hawkeye series on Disney+? Then you’ll recognize this next name. We’re talking about the new series coming to Disney+ called Echo! The series will stream in Summer of 2023. Looks like next summer is going to be pretty big for Marvel!
We’ve been keeping up with casting announcements from Ironheart, but now we know that the original Disney+ series will debut in Fall of 2023.
It feels like WandaVision came out forever ago, but we haven’t forgotten the most iconic part of the show — the Agatha All Along song! We’ll continue to have that song stuck in our heads until the villain’s brand new show Agatha: Coven of Chaos premieres in Winter of 2023.
The show used to be called Agatha: House of Harkness but it looks like the name has been changed.

She-Hulk is coming VERY soon to Disney+, but before it does we got another new trailer for the original series! You can check it out below:

Daredevil: Born Again is a new original series that will star Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Marvel has released a ton of details yet, but we know we’ll see it on Disney+ in Spring 2024!

A new film called Thunderbolts will debut in theaters on July 26th, 2024.

The Fantastic Four are returning in a new movie on November 8th, 2024! The movie will be available to watch in theaters.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is another new movie that Marvel announced — it will arrive in theaters on May 2nd, 2025.

Avengers: Secret Wars will also arrive in theaters that year, but a little later on November 7th, 2025.

And in case you missed it, Marvel dropped a brand new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Check out the video below!

Marvel also announced that the end of Phase 4 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Phase 5 will begin with Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania and will end with the newly announced Thunderbolts movie. Phase 6 then begins with the new Fantastic Four film and ends with the two new Avengers movies — Avengers: The King Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
The end of Phase 6 will conclude what Marvel revealed as the Multiverse Saga.
