We are quickly approaching 4th of July weekend, which means a lot of things for the Disney World parks.

We’re excited to try all the limited-time treats coming to the parks for the holiday, but we also know to expect lots of crowds and that it may be harder than normal to see Disney World’s 4th of July fireworks. But now you’ll need to expect something else this weekend — RAIN.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, guests visiting Orlando theme parks this holiday weekend should expect to have a rainy weekend thanks to high temperatures and humidity.

On Friday, the chance of showers is 60%, while Saturday sits at 50%. Sunday currently sits at a 50% chance of thunderstorms. Temperatures are expected to stay in the low to mid-90s.

Rain or storms in Disney World means it’s important to plan what you really want to do in each park even more. Some rides will close for bad weather, so make sure you hit your favorite ones before the rain starts! And bring your ponchos and umbrellas from home too — they tend to be more expensive in the parks. Check out all our rainy day Disney tips here.
