Disney is Hosting an Exclusive 'TRON'-Themed Dance Party!

Disney’s Tron, is turning 40 this year!

We can’t wait for TRON to take off!

While we never got the third Tron sequel (thanks Marvel and Star Wars), we are getting a new Tron ride — TRON: Lightcycle Run — in Magic Kingdom. The ride recently started testing, and it just hit another huge milestone in Disney World. So, while we can’t ride the new coaster just yet, there’s still one way to celebrate Tron‘s big anniversary with Disney on the west coast!

D23 has announced that the Derezzed Tron 40th Dance Party is coming to San Diego! It’s timed to coordinate with the San Diego Comic Con this year and will take place at the San Diego House of Blues on July 21st, 2022!

The Derezzed Dance Party will feature DJ sets from Jason Bentley, the Music Supervisor of Tron: Legacy, and Qrion and one of the biggest names in electronic music.

Guests are encouraged to dress on theme for this dance party on the grid, and if you attend the event, you’ll get some snacks, a Lightband, and a collectible souvenir you can take home when you leave.

The party starts at 7:30PM, and the pricing changes for different D23 levels. D23 Gold Member Tickets are $45 with a $7 processing fee, and D23 General Member Tickets are $65 with a $7 processing fee.
