As Disney World has slowly recovered and reopened from its closure in 2020, we still haven’t gotten back all of the offering and experiences that we had pre-closure. Back in March, Disney announced that Victoria & Albert’s would be reopening this year, but they did not provide a timeline.
But now, we finally have more information on the reopening of this iconic restaurant!
Disney has revealed that Victoria & Albert’s will officially reopen on July 28th, 2022! Reservations can be made beginning on June 20th, 2022 , and will have availability for bookings 60 days in advance.
And, it’ll look a little different too! Disney shared that the dining room has been “reimagined” and will now feature a “Victorian-styled setting” featuring “murals and wall coverings that showcase a timeless elegance and subtle inspirations of a whimsical garden.”
Victoria & Albert’s is a signature dining experience located within Disney’s Grand Florida Resort & Spa. At this restaurant, you have the opportunity to dine in the main dining room (which has been reimagined as we mentioned before), the Chef’s Table (an exclusive experience where you will have your dinner in the kitchen with the chefs!), or in the more private Queen Victoria room.
The restaurant has won many awards and accolades including the AAA Five Diamond Award. According to Disney, “Victoria & Albert’s features modern American cuisine crafted with exquisite ingredients from around the world.” The menu is prix fixe and changes on a regular basis. Given that this is a fine dining experience, you can expect a hefty price tag.
Speaking of the menu, upon reopening, guests will be able to enjoy the Chef’s Tasting Menu featuring dishes like Colorado Lamb with pickled blueberry and violet mustard and line-caught turbot with fennel fondue, and Pernod beurre blanc, Wagyu A-5 Miyazaki with sauce romesco and potato rösti, and the Spectrum of Chocolate, an ombré featuring specialty sourced chocolates with accents of buttermilk, Grand Marnier, and vanilla.
Victoria & Albert’s also requires all guests to adhere to the dress code for entry. According to Disney, “Men must wear dinner jackets with dress pants or slacks and shoes. Ties are optional. Women may wear a cocktail dress, nice dress, dressy pant suit or a skirt with a blouse.”

Have you ever dined at Victoria & Albert’s? Let us know in the comments!
My husband and I dined at Victoria and Albert’s November 1994 as part of what was called “The Grand Plan”. It was an all-inclusive plan for our children ages 7 and 9, my husband and me, including lodging at The Grand Floridian, plus recreational activities, all dining, and all parks. Even that long ago, Victoria and Albert’s was known as one of the finest restaurants in the city and beyond, so we were thrilled that it was included in our package. The dining experience, including wine pairings, was incredible. The service was impeccable, the surroundings were elegant and inviting, and the food was amazing. I can still taste the chocolate mousse in my memory after all these years. It was truly a memorable experience, and I look forward to being able to dine there again in this lifetime.
