There have been a lot of changes in the Disney executive team lately!
Over the past few months, there have been several new additions to Disney’s executive team, and now Disney Branded Television just got a new Vice President.
According to Variety, Katherine Nelson will be joining Disney Branded Television as the Vice President of Corporate Communications. Nelson has experience as an NBCUniversal Executive, and will be in charge of overall communication strategies in the business and executive teams.
The Disney Branded Television division is responsible for Disney+, as well as Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior. Nelson said, “I’ve had the privilege of working for incredible brands throughout my career, but none as iconic and storied as Disney. It’s an honor to have the opportunity to help tell the story of this beloved brand, and I’m looking forward to working closely with Ayo, Charissa and everyone at Disney Branded Television to shape the future of kids and family programming for generations to come.”
