We hate to burst your bubble, but it’s not just Mickey Mouse running the show. It takes a huge team of people to run The Walt Disney Company! Over the past few years, we’ve seen some senior-level changes in the company, which has prompted a lot of discussion about the future of the Disney brand.
Recently, Disney announced that someone new is joining The Walt Disney Company. Let’s take a look!
The Disney Parks, Experiences and Products LinkedIn page shared an announcement welcoming Gail Evans to the Disney team. Evans was named the new Executive Vice President, Chief Digital and Technology Officer for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
Evans explained, “I’m excited about the incredible opportunity to join Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, and to work with an awesome team to apply digital technologies to our core services, creating and innovating magical moments for consumers across our channels and ecosystems” according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Evans’s LinkedIn account boasts an impressive career. She served as the Global Chief Digital Officer at Mercer, the General Manager of Studios Services and Operations at Microsoft, and Vice President, General Manager of Hewlett-Packard, to name just a few of her titles.
