Although the parks have already seen a lot of changes in Disney World and around the world, the Walt Disney Company is also seeing new faces and saying goodbye to old friends.

While Bob Chapek has recently become the new CEO of the Walt Disney Company after Bob Iger, there are some other people who will be moving to new positions in and out of the Disney family.

According to an official statement from Virgin Galactic, Michael Colglazier will be stepping down as Disney Parks International’s President and Managing Director to be Virgin Galactic’s new Chief Executive Officer.

He will officially become a part of the aerospace and space travel company and the company’s Board of Directors on July 20th as Virgin Galactic “progresses through its test flight program and prepares for commercial service.

Some guests in Hollywood studios today might haven noticedMy Disney Experience released a note indicating that Jackie Swisher has replaced Phil Holmes as the Vice President of Disney’s Hollywood Studios prior to his August retirement. Previously, Swisher was the Vice President of Worldwide Safety Services at Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products.

We can’t wait to see what both of them bring to the table for the Walt Disney Company and Virgin Galactic in the future!
