NEWS: Alexia Quadrani Appointed as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations for The Walt Disney Company

It takes a village to run the Walt Disney Company.

In early 2020, former-CEO Bob Iger announced he was stepping down, and thus began the era of Bob Chapek. Reactions to the new CEO have been mixed, with members of the Disney family denouncing some of his decisions, and one former CEO praising Chapek. The inner workings of the Walt Disney Company are a highly contested topic of debate, and their team just got bigger.

Today, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Christine MaCarthy announced that Alexia Quadrani would lead investor relations for The Walt Disney Company as the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations.

We just said a lot of big, business-y words, so let’s break down what this means. Essentially Quadrani will be a representative for Disney in the global investment community, and will also be advising Disney’s Senior Management Team. When it comes to where Disney is putting their money, and who will be putting their money into Disney, Quadrani’s the one.

McCarthy said, “Alexia is a highly skilled financial professional whose expertise as an industry analyst and strong network of relationships across the investment community make her an excellent choice to lead our investor relations team.”

Quadrani said of her new position, “It is an honor to be joining The Walt Disney Company and to be named to this role at such a dynamic time for the Company.”
