Part of Disneyland's Exclusive Club 33 Will Reopen Soon

If you’ve never heard of Club 33, you’re probably not alone. Club 33 is Disney’s private, secret club with locations that can be found in various Disney parks.

One of these locations is currently undergoing refurbishment, but it’ll be reopening soon!

According to The Orange County Register, the Club 33 location in New Orleans Square in Disneyland is currently undergoing refurbishment.

Salon Nouveau is being refurbished and will be closed through April 15th. The cocktail lounge will then reopen on April 16th.

The entry courtyard that Club 33 members use, called the Court of Angels, is also closed for refurbishment.

During this time, Club 33 members will need to enter through the gate next to Le Bat En Rouge and take the elevator up that way. The main dining room, The Grand Salon, remains open for lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday, despite the refurbishment.

The Club was renovated back in 2014, at which point it had a six-month-long closure that resulted in the addition of the Salon Nouveau cocktail lounge and a complete reimagining of the main dining room.

Did you know that Club 33 was actually inspired by the VIP lounges that Walt Disney experienced during the 1964 World’s Fair? The lounge in Disneyland actually opened in 1967, just a few months after Walt Disney’s passing.

Membership to Club 33 involves an initial fee rumored to range from $25,000-$50,000, and yearly membership fees are said to be between $12,000 and $25,000.
