This is Seriously One of the Most Expensive Disney Items We’ve Ever Seen

Disney has some pretty extravagant souvenirs you can buy in their theme parks and online!

$1,000 Ears (!!!)

There is an $1000 pair of Mickey ears, exclusive artwork, and even some fancy jewelry. While we’ve seen items in the parks that are definitely on the pricier side, we haven’t seen an item that costs MILLIONS of dollars…until now!

Check out the Pure Gold Hong Kong Disneyland Castle of Magical Dreams. The first-of-its-kind collectible item is a replica of the park’s castle and is valued around HK$16 million, which comes out to about $2.051 million in U.S. dollars!

You can see the piece at “Enchanted Treasures — Presented by CHOW TAI FOOK” in Hong Kong Disneyland. It was specially created to celebrate the first anniversary of the castle’s bespoke jewelry store.

The figurine was unveiled during a ceremony alongside a new series of Disney Princesses and Queens jewelry. It was crafted by the artisans from CHOW TAI FOOK, who are appointed as the “Royal Jewelers” for the castle’s keepsakes and treasures.

The Pure Gold Castle took 2 years to be made and measures 85 centimeters (a little over 33 inches) high. A team of over 50 professionals spent a total of 42,248 hours to create the castle. And, the sparkles on the castle were created with at least three kilograms of diamond powder (a method called sandblasting). Finally, every inner and outside detail was polished with more than 19,000 tiles and 5,000 bricks.
