3 Attractions That Will Be CLOSED Next Week in Disney World

Throughout the year, Disney will close certain attractions for a short period of time (or even a long period) for maintenance or refurbishment.

It can be helpful to know what might not be available when you’re visiting to help you plan your park days. That’s why, here at AllEars, we keep you posted on the latest closures. And, today we’re bringing you a refurbishment update on everything that will be CLOSED next week between November 8th to 14th!

Magic Kingdom Refurbishments

Walt Disney World Railroad

The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed for well over 2 years now, as construction on TRON: Lightcycle Run is currently blocking its path around the park in Tomorrowland.

Main Street Railroad Station

The railroad won’t be able to open until TRON construction makes significant progress, so for now the attraction is set to be closed through at least early 2022.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is another fan-favorite attraction that has been closed in Disney World for a lengthy amount of time, but that is set to come to an end this week!

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is getting some extra refurbishments while it’s closed!

The attraction will officially debut its new scene featuring the characters from Pixar’s Coco this Friday, November 12th.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Refurbishments

Kali River Rapids

Lastly, Kali River Rapids will be closed once again over in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The water ride will be undergoing refurbishment through mid-December, and we’ll be keeping an eye out for when an official reopening date is announced!
