When we asked our readers if they would pay to use Disney Genie+ to access Lightning Lanes at Disney World attractions, it was close — a little over half of you said “yes,” while everyone else said “no.”
Disney Genie+ will be an upgrade to the Disney Genie service that will cost an additional $15 per day per guest. But what if you could get that upgrade for free? Well, select Disney World guests now have that option.
D23 Gold Members can now register to get a free day of Disney Genie+ on October 19th. And registration will begin tomorrow, October 14th at 1PM EST/10AM PST.
Once members register, they’ll be sent a confirmation email with further instructions on how to get the free upgrade to Genie+. However, guests will still need to have a valid park ticket, as well as a park pass reservation to use the service on October 19th.
