There’s a lot happening at Walt Disney World in the coming weeks.
Thanks to the 50th Anniversary celebration, we’re getting the opening of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris. That day, several celebrations and two new fireworks shows will also premiere! But before all the fun begins on October 1st, one more restaurant is opening — Space 220.
Space 220 is a new “out of this world” restaurant located next to the Mission: SPACE ride in EPCOT. The concept of the dining experience is that you’re dining 220 miles above the earth in outer space.
In order to have a realistic experience, guests will board the “space elevator” once they arrive, and you’ll be able to watch as you leave your home planet and travel into the vast realm of outer space. In fact, we recently got a glimpse at what it’s like to ride these elevators!

When you make it to the restaurant at Centauri Space Station, you’ll be greeted by a panoramic view of space, including a look at Earth below and a variety of “work and leisure activities taking place beyond the windows.”
And when it’s time to dine, you’ll be able to order a prix fixe two-course menu for lunch and a prix fixe three-course menu for dinner, designed by Chef Mark Kusche. Along with your meal, you can enjoy some unique beverages, including a selection of atmospheric cocktails.
Disney hasn’t yet shared when reservations will be available or what the specific menu items and pricing will be. However, we do know that we’ll first be able to dine at this new restaurant when it opens to the public on September 20th, 2021!

I would like to see the menu. Nobody seems to know when it will be on Disney’s website. No one knows when they are taking reservations. All of that should have been released when they had an opening date. Disney’s secrecy can be tiring! Tron is almost completed, do we have an open date? NO.
Does anyone know if there will be a lounge or if it will be dining-only?
