Slowly but surely, more entertainment options are returning to Walt Disney World Resort.
We’ve got the reopenings of Beauty and the Beast — Live on Stage and Turtle Talk With Crush on the horizon, and Wonderful World of Animation just came back to Hollywood Studios. Now, it seems that another Disney World show has reopened a bit early!
When we were visiting Magic Kingdom today, we noticed that Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor was back up and running! This show wasn’t supposed to reopen until August 8th, but it’s back 3 days early.
We, of course, stopped by to see what things were like. We waited for the show as normal, but keep in mind that masks are required indoors now!
The pre-show still plays in the waiting area before you enter the theater. Here, you’ll get to see what the monsters are up to!
When we were seated, the theater was filled as it normally was pre-COVID. The only difference is that guests must wear masks inside now and keep them on throughout the show.

And we had a great time watching! The shenanigans were just as fun as ever, with audience participation and “that guy” included!
We highly recommend this attraction if you’re looking for a good laugh.

Since the show wasn’t supposed to reopen until the 8th, we cannot guarantee regular hours until then. Although, operating hours and a wait time for Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor are currently listed on the My Disney Experience app.

My favorite is the laugh floor, I was worried they were going to get rid of it permanently, now that it’s open I will go to wdw, need my laugh floor fix I’m jonesin
