During Disney’s Investor Day presentation last December, we were in for a huge surprise when it was announced that Enchanted would be getting a sequel, called Disenchanted, coming to Disney+!
Since the announcement was made, we’ve reported on many of the film’s developments, including keeping up with which actors are returning to the franchise and which actors will be joining for the first time!
According to Collider, Disenchanted has officially wrapped filming! The film’s director, Adam Shankman, posted a photo with Amy Adams on Instagram with the caption “Myself and Giselle…errrr….Amy Adams would just like to say: And that’s a wrap.”
The caption also reads “Coming to you in #2022,” so it sounds like we’ll have to wait at least a few months more before we can finally watch the Enchanted sequel!
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more of the latest news from this film, including a release date!
