Choosing where to stay is one of the first decisions that you’ll make when planning a Disneyland vacation.
Disneyland Resort is home to three Disney-owned hotels, but there are quite a few other hotel options for guests that are close to the parks. Many of them offer similar amenities, special discounts, and more, and now there are two hotels in the area that have ranked among the top hotels in Anaheim!
Visit Anaheim has announced that both the JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort, and The Westin Anaheim Resort have been designated by AAA as a Four Diamond hotel!
They join two previously designated Four Diamond hotels (Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa), making it so that there are now four different Four Diamond hotel options for those wanting to be within walking distance of the parks.
The Westin Anaheim Resort is the newest of the two having opened in June 2021 and is home to 618 guest rooms and 121 suites. And, the JW Marriott opened last year in August 2020 and has 466 guest rooms with 19 suites.
To be designated as a Four Diamond hotel by AAA, hotels must meet high standards of service and have luxury amenities, fine dining, and an upscale ambiance. Plus, AAA now also checks hotels for cleanliness in the areas like the rooms, bathrooms, public spaces, pools, and more.
So, if you’re planning a Disneyland vacation and aren’t sure where you want to stay, be sure to check out these two options! And, in the meantime, stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
