The fifth installment in the Indiana Jones franchise is set to begin filming soon, but right now we’re kicking it old school and setting our alarms to hop onto shopDisney bright and early tomorrow morning!
That’s because a new collectable is launching on the site, and if you’re a fan of Raiders of the Lost Ark, you’ll want to get a look at this!
shopDisney has announced that a replica gold statue will be available tomorrow, June 12th!
Fans may recognize the statue from the iconic opening sequence in Raiders of the Lost Ark, where Indiana Jones swaps out the statue with a bag of sand so he won’t set off any traps (and if you know this scene…things don’t go quite so smoothly).
Pricing has not been released yet, but unfortunately we don’t think a bag of sand will suffice as a form of payment. Be sure to hop onto shopDisney early tomorrow morning if you’re interested in adding this statue to your collection!
