FIRST LOOK at Disneyland’s Blue Bayou Menu — Including NEW Alcohol Offerings!

Disneyland Resort officially reopened last month, though some rides, restaurants, and hotels remained closed.

Welcome back to Disneyland Resort!

But, Disney isn’t making us wait much longer for many of the restaurants and hotels to make their return! Last week Disney announced that Paradise Pier Hotel would be reopening soon and, just yesterday, they also announced reopening dates for SIX restaurants — and, Blue Bayou Restaurant in Disneyland Park is one of those!

The restaurant is set to reopen on May 27th for lunch and dinner, but we already have a preview of the menu, and there is something NEW included — alcohol!

So, let’s start off with those fresh additions to the drink menu, shall we? Guests will now be able to select from a variety of wines by the glass, sparkling wines, or even a wine tasting.

And, three new boozy drinks are making an appearance including two beer options and one cocktail. Now, this is a pretty big addition to the menu because Blue Bayou did not previously serve alcohol so we can’t wait to give these a try!

As for the rest of the menu, it is identical for both lunch and dinner and not much different from the selections we had before the restaurant initially closed — just a bit more limited. There are three appetizers to choose from including Signature Gumbo, Grilled Heirloom Jumbo Asparagus, and a House Salad…

…and for entrees, there are six different options including the classic Monte Cristo Sandwich and Jambalaya.

If you are like us and can’t finish a meal without some dessert, then you can order up the 8-Layer Chocolate Hazelnut Cake or Vanilla-Bourbon Creme Brulee.

And, even the kiddos have a few options like Chicken Breast, Mickey’s Cheesy Macaroni, and the Chef’s Beef Specialty with a choice of two sides.

Reservations for the Blue Bayou Restaurant open on May 18th and then will be available for bookings up to 60 days in advance. We can’t wait to get back and give these new (and returning) options a try! Stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
