And, while the Disneyland Parks are officially open again, Disney is still taking a gradual approach to reopening all of the rides, restaurants, shops, and even hotels. For guests who are visiting for a vacation, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has been the only Disneyland hotel that has reopened, but that will soon be changing this summer!

We now know that Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will reopen on June 15th with limited capacity. And, guests can already start booking their stay as reservations open today, May 6th.

When we checked, there were some standard view rooms, premium view rooms…

…and 1-bedroom suites available during the dates we were looking at.

Note that there are specific rules that apply if you’re planning to visit the Disneyland theme parks — including that you must be a California resident to visit the Disneyland theme parks at this time.

Disney has also shared that, while Paradise Pier will reopen to guests, there will not be any dining options in the hotel immediately. Instead, guests will be directed to the opened dining options at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa or they can order from select restaurants in Downtown Disney that will be providing delivery services to the hotel.

  1. I can’t figure out why they won’t change the name to the Pixar Pier Hotel. They could have done it during the lock down. Also will they ever turn what’s left of the northern part of Paradise Piee at DCA?
