Disneyland Legacy Passholders Have MORE Time To Access Discounts!

At the beginning of 2021, Disney announced that they would be eliminating the Disneyland Annual Passholder program to enable them to create something brand new.

Until Disneyland is ready to roll out that program, those who had a Disneyland Annual Pass were transitioned to a temporary Legacy Passholder program. And, much like the benefits for annual passholders, the new group of members still have access to Disney discounts. The discounts were set to expire on April 30th, but they have now been extended just in time for the reopening of the Disneyland parks!

According to Disneyland’s website, Legacy Passholder digital discount tickets have been extended and will now expire on May 31st, 2021. Keep in mind that “this date will be automatically extended until new membership offerings are announced.”

In order to access your discount, you’ll need to have the Disneyland app downloaded and link your Legacy Pass to your Disney account. The app should take care of the rest automatically, but you can also set it up manually if you’re having difficulty accessing your discount ticket. After that, all you need to do is tap “Tickets and Passes” in the app and your bar code will pop up.

Be sure that you also have your Passport and valid photo ID with you at the shops and dining locations where you can score a Legacy Passholder discount.

Disney has not shared any details on the new annual passholder program just yet, but it is expected to roll out before the end of the year. Stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
