More Restaurants Backed by Beloved Disney Springs Locations Coming to Orlando Airport!

Earlier this week, we got some news about new stores and restaurants coming to the Orlando International Airport, where you’re probably flying into if you’re heading to Disney World.

Orlando International Airport

A new terminal at the airport has been in progress for several years and is set to open in 2022, which will include a stop for the future Brightlight train and a new Disney store, but we realized that’s not all that we’ll be getting with the expansion!

If you’re someone who loves to get the last bit of vacation magic before boarding the plane, this new terminal will be a great spot for you. We already reported on the new storefronts dedicated to our fave theme parks, but after doing some more digging, we realized that some Disney Springs favorites will also be joining the lineup!

In the upcoming Palm Court will be Provisions by Cask & Larder, a second spot for the long-term fixture in the airport — which actually happens to be owned by the team behind Polite Pig in Disney Springs!

We also took a look at the proposed plans for the second level of the concourse and saw that Chef Art Smith — the chef behind Homecomin‘ in Disney Springs — will have a new restaurant called Sunshine Diner in Terminal C!

These two locations will join the second location of Wine Bar George, which we reported on earlier this week! 1. We don’t spend a lot of time at Orlando International, but we can say that it is a favorite. The mosaics on the floor are beautiful. When we were there in December and January the Disney Store and the Sea World stores were closed. It’s nice to know that these places are opening again and they are getting a new restaurant.
