NEWS: Every Adult in California Will Qualify for the COVID-19 Vaccine Next Month

Recently, President Biden directed states to make all adults eligible for the vaccine by May 1st. Florida moved up that timeline, announcing that all adults in the state would be eligible in April. Now, California has done the same.

California Governor Gavin Newsom tweeted that eligibility for the vaccine would be expanded next month. Beginning April 1st, anyone age 50 and up will qualify to receive the vaccine. And on April 15th, anyone age 16 and up can get their shot, too.

NEW: CA is expanding eligibility for the #COVID19 vaccine.

Beginning April 1, Californians 50+ will be able to sign up for an appointment.

Beginning April 15, eligibility will be expanded to everyone 16 and older.

The light at the end of the tunnel continues to get brighter.
