Disney Recipe: These 4 Drinks From Castaway Cay Will Put You on Island Time!

We may not be able to visit Disney’s Castaway Cay right now, but that’s not stopping us from enjoying some of their classic frozen beverages!


Disney has shared four beverage recipes inspired by Frozen that make us feel like we’re on island time!

These frozen treats are Olaf approved and ready to be whipped up in minutes! Let’s learn how to make ’em!

Frozen Heart

First up, we have the Frozen Heart! If you enjoy a mixed blend of tropical flavors, this one’s for you!

  • 5 oz. frozen tropical juice
  • 1 oz. coconut water
  • .5 oz blue curaçao syrup
  • .5 oz. passion fruit juice
  • .5 oz orange juice
  • .5 oz. guava juice
  • Ice
  • Directions

  • Blend frozen tropical juice and coconut water
  • Layer bottom of glass with blue curaçao syrup
  • Pour blended drink and add passion fruit, orange, and guava juices
  • Stir to mix
  • Sven’s Carrot Delight

    Looking for a tasty treat that’s fit for a reindeer? Sven’s Carrot Delight will do just the trick! We recommend that you don’t feed it to any local reindeer, however.

  • 3 oz. carrot juice
  • 3 oz. vanilla-flavored powdered drink mix or vanilla ice cream
  • 1.5 oz. coconut cream
  • .75 oz passion fruit juice
  • .75 oz orange juice
  • .75 oz guava juice
  • Ice
  • Blend all ingredients with ice and enjoy!
  • Warm Hugs

    Who doesn’t want a warm hug from Olaf? We can’t say that this beverage will actually leave you feeling warm…but it’ll definitely satisfy a sweet tooth!

    • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
    • 4 strawberries
    • 1.5 oz. coconut cream
    • 4.5 oz. chilled mocha beverage
    • Blend ingredients and top with whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and chocolate syrup.

    Worth Melting For

    And finally, we leave you with a drink that’s worth melting for! Even in the cold months, this beverage is well worth a try! So turn on one of your favorite Disney films, cuddle up with a blanket, and enjoy this frozen treat!

    • 2 pieces fresh passion fruit
    • 6 oz. pina colada mix
    • 1 oz. blue curaçao syrup
    • Ice


    • Blend passion fruit with piña colada mix and ice
    • Layer bottom of glass with a half-ounce blue curaçao syrup
    • Pour drink and drizzle a half-ounce blue curaçao syrup
