PHOTOS & VIDEO: Check Out This Year’s Entertainment From EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts!

It’s Festival season once again at EPCOT! Just a few days after the conclusion of the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, we’re kicking off the beginning of the first festival of 2021! That’s right friends, it’s time for the 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts!

Since the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is a celebrating of all things culinary, visual, and performing arts, entertainment is usually a big component in the festival’s happenings! But, what would entertainment look like this year during the modified Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts?

2020 saw the cancelation of several big concerts and shows, including Eat to the Beat Concert Series during the Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival, and the Candlelight Processional during the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.

America Gardens Theatre

Voices of Liberty has returned after appearing in EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays, once again at the American Gardens Theatre at the American Adventure Pavilion. This time, they’re debuting a brand-new showcase called “The Disney Songbook.” Mariachi Cobre will also perform throughout the day, along with drawing classes courtesy of Animation Academy!

Also at the America Garden Theatre, the Animation Academy has returned again for 2021! The free workshop is held daily at 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM  as guests follow along in socially distancing seated.

Guests are provided with a drawing board, paper, and a pencil as an artists take you through the tutorial step-by-step with the use of an overhead projector. The Animation Academy session takes about 20 minutes before you put the board back and keep your drawing and pencil to take home with you.

World ShowPlace

Over at World ShowPlace, you’ll be able to catch a couple of performances during your festival visit! First up, there’s “Visual Art in Performance,” where an onstage visual artist painting favorite Disney characters in a matter of minutes!

Also available daily in World ShowPlace is “Art Defying Gravity.” These live performances include spectacles of thrilling strength acts! For some more ambient music, you can also catch a piano player in World Showplace!

Like the other acts, you can catch the pianist several times throughout the day at World Showplace.

Canada Pavilion’s Mill Stage

Everyone’s favorite JAMMitors will be jammin’ out daily at the Canada Pavilion’s Mill Stage.

They’ve been a beloved live performance entity at EPCOT for years now and are always a hit with guests!

Future World East

No Festival of the Arts would be complete now without some chalk art! Head over to Future World East to “ooh and ahh” at some spectacular 3-D chalk art, featuring some of your favorite Disney characters and moments in Disney films!

The 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts takes place January 8th through February 22nd! Be sure to check out not only the great food but also the unique entertainment happening all around EPCOT!
