Disney just made a number of holiday-related announcements, including the unfortunate news that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has been cancelled for 2020.

Disney World has a couple of headliner holiday events each year, and another one of their beloved traditions will also be cancelled for this year to promote their new health and safety guidelines.
According to Disney, EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional has also been cancelled for 2020.

The Candlelight Processional is a long-running event that happens each holiday season in World Showcase, and we are sure there are many of you who were hoping this event would find a way to go on. But with Disney suspending most entertainment offerings to promote physical distancing, things were not looking good for the Candlelight Processional.

EPCOT will still ring in the holiday season with “highlights” from their International Festival of the Holidays, which officially begins on November 27th. You can also be on the lookout for holiday decorations, souvenirs, and other food and beverage items to arrive starting November 6th and staying through December 30th.

can’t wait to put 2020 in the rear view mirror
Very disappointed. Couldn’t make it last year due to surgery. Go away Covid!
