The Walt Disney Company recently announced that its primary focus will be centered on streaming services and media entertainment.

Disney+ launched in November 2019 and Disney also formed a partnership with Hulu for more content. Since then, Disney announced that the company will release 100 pieces of new content every year. The effort to make media their top priority continues as Disney+ and Hulu lead in total television advertising impressions.
Deadline has listed the increases and total amount of viewer impressions for all the major streaming services this year. An “impression” is defined as a verified playing of an ad on a TV screen for at least 3 seconds. Disney+ is at the top of the list with 18.3 billion and Hulu was a close second with about 15 billion impressions. Hulu has seen a whopping 144% increase in ad viewership since 2019.
