A WILD New “Super Zoom” Photo Effect is Coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Disney has been getting creative with their photo effects!

Magic Shots are animated photos that add extra effects (a.k.a. “magic”) to your family pictures. Your PhotoPass Photographer may ask you to hold out your hand and act surprised. You’ll discover later that Tinker Bell photobombed your pic! Disney is adding another fun Magic Shot opportunity at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The “Super Zoom” effect is when Disney takes your picture up-close then zooms out to display a big area of the theme park. Guests have the opportunity to get this shot in front of Cinderella Castle and at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. A new shot will be added to the Discovery River Amphitheater!

Guests will have their close-up shot in the seating area of the theatre. Then, the camera will zoom out to reveal Discovery River, Expedition Everest, and the surrounding area.

The Super Zoom photo is a popular effect that Disney World guests love to partake in. This Magic Shot is available from 10AM through sunset, weather permitting. You know we’ll be giving it a try ourselves real soon!
