Universal Orlando has been one of the most magical places to visit this holiday season (sorry, Disney World) with massive Macy’s balloons, awesome snacks, and a completely decked out Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
But, it’s also been one of the BUSIEST theme parks as Universal has continuously hit capacity over the past couple of weeks. And, it looks like the hustle and bustle of Christmas Week has begun because it’s another very full day in Universal Orlando.
Before the afternoon has even started, Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure have both hit capacity this morning. While it’s been pretty normal for the parks to get filled quickly, they haven’t hit capacity as quite as early as 10:55AM previously.
Today, December 21st at 10:55 am, Universal Studios Florida & Islands of Adventure have reached capacity. We anticipate reopening later this afternoon. For updates, please call our capacity hotline: 407-817-8317 pic.twitter.com/qllWqGY9FR

However, Universal has stated that they plan on reopening the parks later in the afternoon to allow more guests to visit. As Christmas Week and the rest of the holidays continue to be busy, we’ll be sure to fill you in on all the details you need to know before you go!
